These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the iBuddie website (ibuddie.in) and application (ai.ibuddie.in), together the "Service", operated by iBuddie. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
iBuddie is an AI-powered learning assistant that provides step-by-step explanations for academic doubts in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, aimed at students preparing for JEE, NEET, KCET and Board exams. Questions can be submitted as text and, where supported, as images.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal, educational purposes. You agree not to:
You're responsible for the accuracy of the questions and content you submit, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for how you use any explanation the Service provides — including verifying it before relying on it for graded or exam-critical purposes.
Explanations are generated by AI language models based on the input you provide. AI-generated content can be incomplete, outdated, or occasionally incorrect, particularly for ambiguous questions, edge cases, or fast-changing syllabi. iBuddie does not guarantee that any answer is complete, accurate, or error-free. You should independently verify important information against your textbook, official syllabus, or a teacher.
iBuddie is a study aid, not a guarantee of exam performance. We do not promise or guarantee any specific score, rank, grade, or admission outcome from using the Service. Your results depend on many factors outside our control, including your own study effort and preparation.
The iBuddie name, logo, website and app design, and underlying software are the property of iBuddie and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without permission. You retain ownership of the questions and content you submit, but grant us the right to process that content as needed to provide the Service (for example, sending it to AI providers to generate an answer).
iBuddie offers a free plan and paid subscription plans with additional usage or capabilities, as shown on our Pricing section. Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through a third-party payment processor until cancelled. Prices are shown at the time of purchase and may change with notice for future billing periods. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once a billing period has started.
You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from the app; you'll retain access to paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or pose a security risk, with notice where reasonably possible.
The Service uses third-party providers — including sign-in providers, hosting infrastructure, a payment processor, and AI model providers — to operate. Your use of those integrations may also be subject to the relevant third party's own terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, iBuddie and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated content. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service, and may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
